CRAIGYHILL METHODIST CHURCH
Located on the edge of Larne town
Our Craigyhill Church is located on the edge of Larne town adjacent to a number of housing developments.
HISTORY
Since 1958
The Craigyhill Church has a shorter history. In 1957, with rapidly developing housing complexes at Antiville and Craigyhill a new congregation was established and housed in a dual-purpose timber building erected by the Methodist Church Centenary Committee and opened on 18th January 1958.
Over the years since the Congregation and the Organisations associated with it have grown rapidly and it soon became clear that a more permanent premises was urgently needed. Accordingly plans were formulated to build the present Church and Hall, the opening of which took place on 28th April 1969.
